Our Story
We first fell in love with this beautiful breed many years ago when we were looking for a family pet. After seeing how different the temperament of the British Shorthair was compared to the previous cross-breeds & rescues we'd homed, we were completely smitten. Our dream of breeding became a reality following a lot of research and hard work, and we’re proud of the happy, clean & safe living environment we provide for our furry friends. They are very much part of our family.

We breed responsibly and every breeding line is genetic tested as PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) negative via Langfords. Our foundation cats were sourced from reputable breeders with show champion lines to ensure that our kittens would be excellent examples of the breed. All of our breeding adults and kittens are fully vaccinated, microchipped, with preventative flea and worming treatments routinely administered. They are fed a high quality raw diet, and are all sociable, healthy and well-loved pets first and foremost.

We provide a hygienic and stress free environment for our cats and kittens, with daily cleaning of all areas with a vet grade disinfectant (Anigene). Expecting Queens move into a dedicated upstairs kitten room approximately 1-2 weeks prior to birth so that they can nest and prepare for birth in a quiet area. This also enables us to be right on hand during the night when labour usually starts! Once we're sure the litter is thriving and no hand feeding is required, each mother is provided with their own space to raise their litter.

Kittens are gradually separated from their mum once they are fully weaned to reduce the chances of any cross contamination from shared litter trays. This is usually at around 8 weeks old. All kittens are well socialised by the whole family, and they have a TV or music on during the day so that they're used to normal household noises when they leave us. Our kitten rooms are also furnished with plenty of toys and cat trees to ensure they have lots of mental stimulation when we aren't playing or cuddling them. We have CCTV to keep an eye on them at all times. We also allow daily supervised playtime with our two cavapoos to help them settle easier into new homes with resident dogs.

We breed a variety of colours including: blue, cream, lilac, fawn, red, chocolate & cinnamon in solid, tortie and bi-colour patterns.
