Reservation Process

If you would like to reserve a kitten, we would appreciate you providing us with some information about their potential new home. For example, are there any resident pets or children? Will the kitten be left on their own for long periods? Will they be indoor only or free roaming? There are no right or wrong answers, it will just ensure we help you choose the right kitten for your circumstances, and we can be confident our kittens will be happy in their new home.

When we're happy that kittens are thriving, we make introductory videos for potential new homes. You're welcome to put your name against your favourite kitten and they will be marked as 'provisionally reserved', meaning the kitten won't be offered to anyone else. Visits to meet your chosen kitten are offered once they've had their first vaccination and health check at around 9 weeks old. At this point, we ask for a £195 non-refundable deposit to confirm you'd like to proceed with the re-home (this deposit would be refunded in the unlikely event of any health issue being identified and you didn't wish to continue with the re-home). We will then issue you with our Kitten Care Guide which details the food and litter your kitten will be used to, as well as other useful information so that you can prepare for their arrival. You will also be provided with a copy of our Sale Agreement which you can review prior to collection, and sign alongside ourselves on the day you collect your new bundle of fun!

If you would like to take advantage of free microchipping and 5 weeks free insurance all arranged by us, we will request your full name, address, e-mail & contact number. This information will only be shared with Animal Tracker & AGRIA for the purposes of registering these services for you.

We will provide you with an estimated re-home date, however, this is subject to vet appointment availability. As per the GCCF guidelines, your kitten will be ready to leave us a week after their final vaccination, usually between 12-13 weeks old. This extra week allows them time to recover from any side effects of the vaccination.

We will post regular updates on our Facebook & Instagram pages so that you can follow your kitten’s progress, and welcome any questions you have in preparation for their arrival.

**VIEWINGS**

Due to Covid, we now restrict visits to our conservatory which is the best-ventilated room, with no access to the rest of our home. If the weather is pleasant, we may set up a kitten pen outside in the back garden which reduces the risks further. You will still be able to see the kittens' living environment and meet their mother. There are facilities nearby in Tesco & Sainsbury's should you require a comfort break.

We don't request you wear face masks as the conservatory is ventilated, but please let us know if you'd feel more comfortable with us wearing them.

We also politely request that as few people attend the visit as possible to reduce risks for everyone. We've had covid twice and it's difficult caring for animals when feeling unwell so please cancel a visit if you have anything infectious from coughs/colds to covid. We will re-book you as soon as you're well again.

During viewings, you're welcome to take as many photos/videos as you'd like to share with your family and friends.

Due to weekend commitments, viewings are offered Monday to Friday from 9:30am with the last visit starting at 3:30pm. We limit viewings to a maximum of one hour as kittens easily tire, and we often have more than one visit booked in a day.

Enquiries are welcome & answered as soon as possible during normal working hours.

Please note that due to extensive daily cleaning, this is usually after 9:30/10am.
